I wish I could maintain 10% of the optimism my dog has. She never gets fed table food (aside from the odd apple slice when my daughter and I share some apple slices with lunch), yet every time someone walks into the kitchen she follows with her tail wagging with the intent of “this might be the day”.

Steve Wilkes is very good at making second half adjustments. I expect the 49ers D to be better in the second half but not sure it matters unless they get a couple turnovers.
