They almost pulled out a win but the Jays absolutely deserved that loss tonight. Terrible terrible execution all around against an awful injury riddled team.

Today’s Blue Jays vs Guardians is a perfect example of why ABS challenge was long overdue. Blue Jays won 3 challenges in the 5th inning and scored 4 runs. There is a good chance they don’t score any if not for those challenge wins. The umpiring has been simply awful. This crucial game in the wild card race could legitimately have been decided by poor umpiring in the past.

If the Orioles win. Rangers and Twins both lose there will be a 5 way tie for the final wild card spot. Hilarious

So the Twins released Woods-Richardson creating a hole in their pen. Jays picked up Woods-Richardson making Tommy Nance expendable and then traded Nance to the Twins for a dude hitting .300 in A ball. I give Atkins a lot of flak but that’s some quality GMing. What say you @Jer?

If the Jays are going to continue to treat their leverage relievers with kid gloves and throw games away with this best reliever sitting in the bullpen the GM should be on the phone day and night trying to get a second closer. This is at least 5 games this year.
