There was so much craziness re Covid, but one thing with profound implications for everything around the vaccine was the timing of someone being considered "vaccinated." For the mRNA jabs, you weren't considered fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after your second shot. Most side effects are concentrated in the days immediately after vaccination, so all thing things that happened in that window - covid cases - covid deaths - strokes - heart attacks - (etc) were attributed to someone being unvaccinated (or partially vaccinated). It's hard to overstate the effect of this on the statistics around the effectiveness of the shots. Basically most of negative effects of the shots are falsely attributed to the lack of them.

So let's say it was Peter's mistake/exploit, and NVK found out about it years ago (setting aside for the moment all the obnoxious behavior and toxic arrogance). Actually let's pretend this is you, anon, and you have good motives. What do you do when you discover the bug? You can't announce it; that exposes the vulnerability and everyone loses their funds. You can: 1) encourage everyone to update firmware and make sure that the upgrade requires new key generation. (And then what? hold your breath and cross your fingers? and then wait for the inevitable attacks as AI improves?) or 2) get all the pieces in place - prep communications, reconstruct customer purchases, batten down the hatches while somehow keeping zero leaks - and do a massive white hat attack. After which you try to reconstruct everything to return funds before you shutter the business. what are the other options?
