That’s La Mussara
Once a thriving village nestled high in the mountains, La Mussara now stands as little more than a haunting memory—its crumbling ruins whispering of a time long gone. Deserted between the 1950s and 1960s, the town’s official demise has been attributed to phylloxera, a relentless insect plague that ravaged the vineyards, leaving the locals without their lifeblood.
But there’s another story, far more chilling. Some say La Mussara was cursed—its fate sealed long before the vines withered. Whispers of doom spread like wildfire, gripping the villagers with fear. Perhaps it wasn’t the insects that drove them away... but the sinister knowledge that their home was doomed from the very start.

The building was commissioned in 1906 by Pere Milà and his wife Roser Segimon. The building did not respect any rules of conventional style, for which Gaudí received much criticism. To begin with, the name "La Pedrera" is in fact a nickname assigned by the citizens who disapproved of its unusualness. The unique structure of the building and the relationship between the building's architect and Pere Milà became the object of ridicule for the people of Barcelona and many humorous publications of the time.
Casa Milà is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

This white tower was built for Telefónica to transmit television coverage of the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava, with construction taking place from 1989 to 1992. Because of the tower's orientation, it works also as a giant sundial, which uses the Europa Square to indicate the hour.
