BEING ON #nostr DAY 3 Still learning about this world that felt so foreign - like I am about to have open contact with an alien. What I experienced here blew me away in a most positive sense! Being a dinosour, using well known social medias and constantly being invisible, censored, shadowbanned I feel like I found my place. I discovered when I simply share my ideas, visions, and perceptions on Nostr, I am practically adding to the collective voice and values of the community. Every post each of us make reflects a unique perspective, and contary to old paradigm social media, here not only you can speak freely and be who you are, but people tip you if they resonate with what you shared! This is mind-blowing to me! I still cannot believe you can practically be awarded for just being you. The content and entire experience is not determined by algorith, it's driven and promoted by users. We all get to decide what ideas, visions and thoughts we want to promote. I am eager to see how users will utilize this incredible opportunity. And...a dinosour like me for the first time experiences the world of coins ans how easy and smooth this exchange can go. I am dinosaur. Very new to #nostr, and I don't own bitcoins. I always felt like I somehow missed that train. But...the fact that I organically started building up my Bitcoin balance just by being me is one of the most rewarding things I've ever experienced! I love this photo on so many levels! Mostly because it reminds me of how I created it. It was back in 2007... I got myself a Fuji prosumer camera and started photographing like crazy. Photography was my escape from the corporate world. After finishing work, I’d come back late at night, in low light, feeling so tired. But since photography made me feel alive and passionate, I kept enjoying the process of creating art and, I guess, self-discovery. I think I was longing for authenticity after spending all day in an oppressive corporate environment. Anyway, long story short... this photo was taken in a small bathroom under a bulb, with that old Fuji prosumer camera. The entire process of creating this photo took all night, setting the mood and vibe in Photoshop afterward. It had to "click" you know? To #FEEL right 😀 Over time, I’ve learned that we always embody pieces of ourselves in the things we pour our focus, attention, and emotions into. We transfer that onto a medium and make it immortal.
