Why people are bothering on social media with 1996 stylish gifs, banners and profile pictures? did they study art history? Altamira's cavemen were more aware about their foot on earth than 99,9% percent of social media users.

Sometimes I think I am the only one that doesn't like profile pictures. Some of you noticed I have not profile picture since I started pushing events on nostr network. It is not interesting for me. You may think I don't like art or I am blindness, I am not. In fact I studied high degree on arts and also was studying arts abroad. It is more about philosophy, estética and other related topics.

Is someone helping me to start a camping to reduce profile pictures Mb? Or even to stop using profile pictures at all? Maybe clients need the option to STOP profile pictures by default. It is not interesting for me.

If you upload your profile picture with more than x Mb you are fucking all of us. Profile pictures need to be only a few Kb or even like my with no profile picture. I can read people concerning about data bandwith that is because of your vaporwave like style on gifs and parafernalia from 1996.

NOSTR aims descentralization. Client developers are centralizating it. Also people are confusing nostr developers with client developers, they are not the same people also they hink different on how to aproach challenges. Only a couple of nostr clients devs are doing it the right way. You choose.

Why #Amesthyst is resizing all the pictures with the same cloud server? Is this a way to "count" how many users are using actively your app Vitor? What a pity, don't try the app or at least, compile it yourself deleting this weird stuff like auto-translation and image resizing.
