Labels on individual fruits are such a nuisance shitcoin things: hard to remove, non-degradable plastic, you-dont-wanna-know-whats-in-the-glue. If you compost, and don't remove, they end up in the soil. It has a cost, but it doesn't add any value to me. Maybe it helps the supermarket cashier, to do the job seconds faster; for the sake of superefficient consumerism. (Note: I buy fruits&vegetables in a small grocery, only very rarely in supermarket.) image

The walk was in fact on backcountry skis 😎 (but I haven't found such option in #Runstr) Some downhill as well. View quoted note →

## BudaBit Demo Day application ### Title: Zappool.org Pitch: I plan to present Zappool.org, a young project where you can get daily zaps from your Bitaxe homeminer. You just have to enter your npub and Zappool's pool server into the miner, and earnings will be sent to you in the form of daily zaps. Zapping away your mined sats is a cool usecase for a Bitaxe! I plan to explain the goals of this project, present the idea of a proxy pool, and say a few words about the recently turned on payout-as-zap feature.

There is too much cheering for state-owned bitcoin among bitcoiners. It would be much more important that states allow and encourage their people to stack bitcoin. Bitcoin, when adopted by a state, is not possible to inflate and makes Cantillon-style machinations more difficult. But only if it replaces fiat, plus states have other tricks to cheat on the people. Misuse and stealing of public funds is a real danger, no matter if it's fiat or bitcoin. If a state stacks bitcoin, but stops its people from doing so, that's a massive red flag. It doesn't really matter if Venezuela's bitcoin stack (if they have one) ends up in the hands of Venezuelan or US government; either way is worse than in the hands of individuals.

Interesting extension of the CoinJoin concept. So far I haven't seen WabiSabi, Arkade and PayJoin discussed together. View article →
