People have an innate understanding that we each have "the right to do anything', yet have a blind spot that "not everthing is beneficial" nor "constructive" (1 Corinthian 6:12, 10:23). We start off thinking we're masters over the freedom entrusted to us from birth, but realize at some point our choices come to have mastery over us. If all things are permissible, not everything should be done, nothing should be allowed to enslave us. "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery" (Galatians 5:1).
