We are looking at applying for a grant for Opensats, and I noticed in the FAQ that the grants go out once a year. Since the last one went out recently, will the next round go out a year from now? Is it worth applying now, or wait until closer to the next announcment?

Did you reduce your local entropy today? Having kids definitely makes the battle to maintain and create order real haha.
Hey @Deleted Account, if I remember correctly, you mentioned on a podcast that BOLT11 invoice descriptions were bad for privacy, do you have a more detailed write up anywhere as to why that is?
I am working on a v2 receive flow for Clams atm so considering burying the description input in the UI if that is the case.
#[0] is it possible to implement Zaps with a Bolt12 offer instead of a lightning address? Would there need to be coreln plugin that publishes to nostr upon payment?
Currently reading Turtles All the Way Down, and i'm being reminded of other commentary I have read on how broken the institution of science currently is due to funding issues and incentive mismatches. Could we apply something like the value for value model to science? Could talented people submit research proposals and get them crowdfunded, doing their research in the open for global peer review? I could imagine an app/platform built on Nostr and Bitcoin/Lightning that does this, but does something like this already exist? Are there examples of scientists using existing platforms like Patreon to fund open science research?
Stoked to be able to support Jacob with Bitcoin and secure high quality food for my family. I am hoping that he can prove this to be a successful business model so that other farmers in Aus can replicate and leave monocropping behind.

On this farm, conversation turns to beef, bitcoin and 'sovereignty'
A group of farmers and health-conscious Australians say they are part of a food movement that involves Bitcoin.
