Good morning and happy Sunday #NOSTR fam! I hope this note finds you and yours in good spirits and optimism for the new day and the fresh week ahead. You can skip the rest of this note, I'm just going to boreass a bit about my week. You heard of the saying 3 steps forward and 2 steps back?! Well this week was busy as sh!t and broman still feels like he took 5 steps back. How come you might ask?! Family stuff that I committed to 3 months ago (when I was still on that hamster wheel) and just straight forgot. So that was that. We're all set now...I think. But yeah. Running around like a headless chicken was my week. But that's behind us. I'm off that hamster wheel and have been since 6/7. So that shouldn't happen again. I have a full week ahead, but I'm taking the day off anyway. Going to rest hang out in the right lane, probably shut the phone off for the day and just recharge. On a slightly different note. I consumed about 4 hours of RFK content last night. I see the appeal and I get it. But one thing comes to mind, well actually a few. He refers to "the kids" often. The kids are soldiers. The kids are the future generations. The kids are our legacy. You can interpret that one of 2 ways. Some patriarchal sh!t, I KNOW BEST. Or He's not doing any of this for himself. He believes in a future that could be. Jury still out on that for me. It also reminded me of another time. When Obama was elected president, my mom was genuinely disturbed. She was like, OMG, why would he put his family in this situation. He's got a beautiful family with young kids. They're going to JFK him. 🙄 But sounds like JFK is aware of this. The highlight of my day....lunch time hike with mini me in one of my fave parks in Maryland. The day wraps up with the pooch and I heading back out to my place of repose for a week (or 2) for some quiet time with nature. Oh and hopefully I'll have a couple #Coinkite wallets waiting for me.
