Some of the bots on global, are obvious bots to me. Think temp or dm snitcher...I mean reporter. But others......I'm sort of giving that side eye. Thinking the one going by the name of d a v e. It's quite possible it is a real person and is just really really quick with optimizing search engine query/formatting. Keeping a close eye on that one.

This note was inspired by a message received from a nostr friend. I was in transit, so my reply was short. For that I apologize. If someone takes the time to message me, I take that as a great compliment.....usually. Having thought on that message a bit and this is what I'd like to add to my initial reply and thought more of us can benefit from it. So making it a note. This may be some "captain obvious" stuff to some, if so this note is not intended for you. There is a certain "type" that finds themselves on NOSTR so early on. Just as there was a certain "type" that was tinkering with VOIP equipment and services early on before VOIP was a thing. Just as there was a certain "type" that was using the internet really early on, when there was no email or e-commerce. I can go on and on with these examples and I'm not that old. 😮 This "type" is typically comprised of individuals whom eventually becomes the founders of the largest telecom network in countries. This "type" becomes the founder of the largest e-commerce and retail sites. This "type" eventually becomes the founders and builders of the largest social media sites, retail payments sites and so on. All that to say, nostr is likely not everything you would like it to be today. But you/we are early. Make it a place that people like you will eventually want to be a part of. Advocate for, support and encourage the developers that build the things that you and your "type" will value when they inevitably arrive on NOSTR. How I see it.... You/me/we are the rangers, sent ahead of the troops (our friends and families) to observe, understand and eventually figure out how you will conquer this space and set your mark in ways that will benefit them and bring value to the masses. Keep in open mind. Be humble (I'm working on this one really hard). We all have something to teach and something to learn. Rangers are sometimes referred to as trail blazers. Take your pick. But this is your assignment. Whether you want it or not. I say this with much respect and love to all of you. I have learned much and continue to do so. ✌️🤘🫂✊🙏

Good morning NOSTR fam! I hope this note finds you and those important to you in good health and spirits. Today can be a trigger for some and loaded with emotions for others. For me, it's a mix. I spoke with mom (and pops) this am. We are managing dementia with mom so never know how those calls will go. But today she was her usual self. So putting today under the "it's a good day" column. The pooch and I had a pleasant hike. We stuck to the game trails and avoided the main ones to bypass the "weekend occupants" I guess you could say. On the 7th day, I like to take inventory of the week. I feel pretty good about the to-do list. A week of many firsts. Both exciting and can sometimes expose some insecurities. Good morning NOSTR fam! The sub title for this week would be "a week of new norms". Investing a few minutes everyday establishing systems to help me succeed in my goals for the next third. The new systems will help minimize time spent on the mindless, repetitive tasks of the day. Automate where I can and or batch processes where applicable. It's going to be a beautiful day in the #keystonestate. So, the pooch and I are heading out early to get our miles done before the crowds descend upon the trails. Some tin foil hat ramblings! Will probably read like some captain obvious stuff to many of you, but I needed an outlet. "And then they fight you!" Where is the fight: it's everywhere, but IMO the victor will be defined (maybe even declared) In America. Who is fighting and what are the sides: One side is: Central Banks, their politicians, the uninformed and distracted public (think bread and circus). The other side is: These bitcoin shows, their listeners, guests, authors and the companies that sponsor and produce them. I call it the war of old vs new. But I'm no marketing or branding major. The old is well entrenched, with resources in places and reaches where we have yet to even uncover. They've been organized for centuries. This is one of their few advantages. On the other side is the new. While gaining momentum most recently with the advent of Bitcoin, is still quite nascent. Satoshi might say it's too early, needs more time to develop. Also, on our side (the new) we have the benefit of energy, math, fast (and cutting edge) tech (NOSTR), youth and you all, some really, really sharp minds, making your own new rules. I've been watching this manifest with amazement for a few years and boy I'm impressed and optimistic. This fact is loudest and clearest to me when I see Yell @n or B!de n speaking on the side of old contrasted by on the side of new, Dill an , L 0 wry, G u y (in mind I call him the southern Baptist preacher), Al din , Maw ller and many more. The old will not voluntarily relinquish their hold on our time, energy and soul. There will very likely be casualties. But being united is the right and only way. Haha. There's a whole footstr/boobstr campaign going on in nostrovia. I haven't quite figured out what the platform is for these seemingly competing campaigns. And kinda scared to find out nostr may be just a little more freakier then one might suspect at first glance. 😯😯 Just saying.

Ok. So the meaning of Friday is really just now sinking in for me. It's been a pretty busy week...what needed to get done that is not done?! Friday at the ripe age of 50, means something different when you're 10, 20, 40 and so on. I need to define my Friday. The OCD in me demands I make this a priority. #RandomBrainThings

Drops in quietly mid day. Bookmarks a bunch of notes for later. Bc nostr is moving so fast, ya gotta bookmark mid day or fall behind weeks in a matter of hours. Not a complain, just an observation.

SMH! NOSTR...where you all produce more in a day then the old internet generates in weeks. Be it memes, software features or new ideas. It's a multi front assualt on the old ways of operating.
