Another thing, I’m seeing accounts pop up that are posting copyrighted media (films). Does nostr challenge the idea/model of a copyright, or make it moot? Are these accounts acting unethically? Soon, will pretty much anything that can be digitized become available for free on nostr somewhere? If so, how are creators/artists going to get paid? Can we really expect ppl to provide value for value? If you don’t give a shit, are you democratic or cynical?

I can’t stop considering this point since I was lucky enough to read it. Nostr devs: are we making room for reflection as we churn out cutting edge tech? The reason that the middle class is eroding (getting poorer) is that wages are stagnant while cost of living rises. The only way to escape? Get assets, which are also rising. This requires some extra cash, which can be hard to come by if your wages are stagnant and cost of living has been rising. I’m so bullish on #bitcoin but I’m also trying to find a way to keep my head above water so I can buy more, all while living in a way that’s somewhat fulfilling. Entrepreneurship seems like the only way to possibly avenue to escape the “stagnant paycheck, get rekt by price inflation, get poorer” doom loop.
