I've been contemplating getting my first gun. Been dragging my feet because it's A. A big responsibility. B. I don't like violence. I'm not delusional. I am entirely cognizant that I exist in an actively hostile universe. I'm suspicious of anyone who commits to the responsibility easily. I mean more power to them, I just don't relate. I took my conceal carry class and aced it. I hit the range for the class and was the best grouping. So it's not an issue of competence.

I started working on a theme for Hugo. I have always wanted to try and now here I am. Yay me! Hugo is a static site generator. Basically a way to have content separate from code. And your code is organized into layouts and small snippets. Then you run a command and the generator will take both and combine them and out put only HTML, CSS, and JS.

I have a theory that good TV shows have a shelf life of 3 seasons. After the third they decline in quality. Maybe it's because the formula becomes familiar. Or maybe I'm a product of the times and simply get bored after 3.

I don't get the "fuck my neighbors" mentality at all. Maybe i've have just been fortunate to have decent neighbors or whatever. Even if I didn't, I don't think I would want them to suffer or fuck themselves.
