This is not the way to persuade developers to change their software's behavior. Not for Mastodon, not for Nostr, not for Bluesky. Try it with Twitter / X and see how it gets.

I closed my Mastodon account (Vivaldi.social). I still have multiple Pleroma / Akkoma / GnuSocial accounts, so I'm still active in the Fediverse. I just don't like the MastoUI and I didn't feel that my direction is compatible with Vivaldi's.
