Successfully delivered these to Square merchants that accept ₿itcoin in my area. In the near future, one merchant will be reopening a long established restaurant/bar that was shuttered a year or so back. I have no doubt, they plan to accept ₿itcoin payments when they get open. I’ll make sure they have some of these to display in prominent places. @npub1cash...dg5l should automatically send these to all Square merchants that have turned on this feature. If merchants want their customers to pay in ₿itcoin, they have to make sure the customer knows it’s an option.

Promoting the option of paying with ₿itcoin for my martial arts dojo. Staring in January 2026, every invoice will have a QR code that points to my personal Node running @BTCPay Server connected to my business @npub1ex7m...vyt9 account, promoting payments via @npub1cash...dg5l. It could just as easily be connected to my personal Lightning wallet if I wanted, but for now I want to teach others about easy options to get into ₿itcoin payments. 💪🏻

@npub1ds3h...hzcn @npub12gu8...fle6 When I placed my order for supper the girl rang it up on the terminal like a cc payment. I said, can I pay with bitcoin. Without hesitation, she said yes and changed the payment to a lightning invoice. Then as I started to pay, I realized it was a teaching moment and asked the teller if she wanted to see what it looked like on my side of the transaction. She said yes, then two other staff members and two other customers hovered around me so I could demonstrate how easy it was. After the transaction was complete, I spent a few minutes talking to customers about why this was a big deal and why they should do it too. I wrapped up my time by having a good conversation with a retired bank CFO who I talked through the process, explained the benefits, and how it drastically reduces fees. This banker actually remembered the first merchant in my town that started accepting cc’s. It was a good evening for sure. Now I just need my new stickers to come in so I can give them to the merchants in town accepting ₿itcoin. Excited that one merchant already accepting Bitcoin is reopening a popular restaurant/bar after the 1st and I know they are going with Square. I feel sure they will accept ₿itcoin payments there too. @BTC Map I see a local business that shows up on the @npub1cash...dg5l map but doesn’t show up on your map. I thought the adds usually picked up across all maps fairly quickly. Are y’all still catching up from the weekend or is the an issue?
