“Things are going good in the garden” at the parking lot at 2am…Typical no parking situation. It’s a mystery. I encountered the most beautiful woman hiking up from Keene. She was equally frustrated. Just a warm up for a challenging 25 mile hike… I headed up the brothers trail and got to big slide at 7. Insane views. Then headed over to yard, which was un-eventful but chill af. Mellow hike down to jbl. Camped, slept like a baby. Next day I Hiked mt Marcy. Tallest peak in NY. 360 views. I ate mushrooms and vaped live cannabis resin. Pretty sure I was the highest mofo in New York that day. At least for an hour, till some kid in Nike dunks shows up with a wild ass mutt. Looked like a corgi/sheepdog mix?. 5,400 feet and this dude has this dog with 6” legs. wtf. Pretty sure Life is a simulation… I Stayed at John’s brook lodge that night. Slept like shit. Ate like a king. Too many old people snoring. FYI. Lite weight backpacking gear is an absolute game changer! Step 1- cancel all social media. Step 2-get trail running gear, backpack,sleep system, stove, tent. Step 3- get lost in the woods. Step 4- don’t come back until you find yourself.
