This chart explains a lot. Up until a few months ago, XRP DCAers were significantly underperforming bitcoin DCAers. But with the recent pump, they're finally break even, incredibly bullish, and convinced the pump will continue...but it's more likely XRP reverts to the mean. 
One of my nostr core memories is when everyone was first joining and posting memes nonstop many of which were getting100k sats zaps from @jack. Crazy how time flies. Tick tock, next block.
Most institutions and nation states won't take bitcoin seriously until it's well above $1m per coin and that's ok. Preferred, actually.

Folks who got in at this point post-halving in 2017 experienced a crazy 20x over the following 8 months.
Conversely, folks who got in at this point post-halving in 2021 pretty much entered at the top of that cycle.
Where are we headed this cycle? Only time will tell. 
I've made more non-custodial Lightning payments in the past month than I've made on chain bitcoin payments in the past 4 years...but sure...Lightning's a failed payments network and doesn't help scale Bitcoin.
Nation state adoption of Bitcoin will bring about a whole new level of cope from the Bitcoin deniers and nocoiners...even though we've been trying to tell them that this was coming since the beginning. It's crazy to watch it all unfold in real time though.

Quick reminder that at this point post-halving during the early innings of the 2016 bull run, bitcoin had still failed to break cleanly above its 2013 all time high...and then a few weeks later, we were off to the races!
