@Vitor Pamplona Does #Amethst check and pull relays from a NIP-05 list when the user has it configured? If so how can this be "refreshed" or does it trigger periodically?

Is there a #nostr #client that allows the triggering of: - Pulling #relay info from a NIP05 identifier - Broadcasting those as the up-to-date relays to find the user on Many of my clients have outdated relays on them which really should be able to be refreshed, and a relog (cache cleared) didn't do it. Essentially, looking for a way to #onboard normie friends and have the relays from their NIP05 ready to go. As a NIP05 server operator, is there a way for me to push/broadcast instead of waiting for a pull? This shouldn't be much of security concern given the user should have the identifier set on their profile in the first place. #AskNostr

I'm trying to be optimistic and find the benefits here, but having a hard time. - It's #custodial. - No #privacy guarantees. - Discouraging #P2P transactions, and using corporations instead. It seems exactly the same as fiat, except you're giving them your #Bitcoin without even enabling a decentralized circular economy... At the very VERY least, #cashu needs to become the basis for custodial solutions. image Source:

Run a Bitaxe miner - Do your part to deserve this. Run a node - Verify. Self-custody your Bitcoin. No, there is no other option.

Imagine the sweat, the tears, the fists to the wall.. The fear. We joke about price suppression as a happenstance, and go on about our day, but I think certain entities are literally coming to the hard realization of just how unstoppable #Bitcoin is. The price may not be going up, but for every certain person of power that wants the price to drop, and it just won't budge and stay that way, imagine just how powerless and feeble they're feeling right about now. If hyperinflation is the crumbling of an empire instigated by a dependency on money printing to issue credit, this is the beach's water getting pulled back as it feeds the making of a tsunami.

#AskNostr One of #Nostr's biggest strengths is its potential for interoperability, however, what's everyone's thoughts on most clients using the same kind note for pretty much anything? I'm trying to understand whether there is/should be any distinction between event kinds between common notes and something like community/discussion notes. As far as I can see, they are all kind 1 notes. What makes sense for the end-user, and what is the expectation? Do users use segregation of feed types at an npub level (different npub depending on what they want to engage with, just as they do now between X/Reddit/FB etc)? Or should there be an event kind specific for community-style discussions? I'm sure this has been discussed to death (I first noticed there over a year ago), but unsure where/how to find these discussions. I see on the nostrability repo there is talks of getting communities onto a nip-29 standard which from my understanding could solve this with different kind notes, but also make it relay-based.

I started my journey with anarchism well before I knew of Bitcoin, thanks to Noam Chomsky. It's been quite interesting experiencing it come full circle. Beautiful anarchy is what comes next.
