Funniest thing as I sit here working at 9pm working... I've got an opening on my team. I work in Finance at a well funded startup. I'm reviewing resumes in our applicant tracking system. 1000+ applicants (I'm picky so I go through them rather quickly and let my recruiters know who I want to talk to) A candidate who worked for a shitcoin is in my queue... An employee... for a cryptotoken (one you've definitely heard of)... I'm going to paraphrase some of the accomplishments... I bought my daughter a Garmin watch for kids. She wanted a "cool watch" like daddy". It tracks her activity level, steps, chores, etc. and allows her to earn stars which she can redeem for: allowance, a new toy, ice cream, pizza party, etc. She asked how when she redeems her stars, "how does the watch know if we had a pizza party?" Cue me ranting about the oracle problem. 🤣
