If anyone is wondering why I’m taking such a strong stance on this state attack thing, I was the US girl who publicly signed a transaction to claim a wallet with a years salary worth of XRP in it when the lawsuit dropped and the United States SEC said they had jurisdiction to sue users who held xrp I signed for it in a multisig on a hardware wallet and held it, in active, vocal resistance 3 year lawsuit where the state said to users “we are fucking coming for you” Whether anyone wants to believe it or not, those actions directly protected bitcoiners of today to be able to do all the lil cypherpunk (solarpunk) bitcoiners be doing I didn’t even give a fuck about xrp before that. That’s how much I believe in cypherpunk ideals.

The question for me is… how many people here are actually skilled enough to survive a state attack on bitcoin? The xrp community survived because everyone operating the network were already obfuscated cypherpunks and technological savants… to go dark was merely a flip of a switch but Bitcoin would be a much more difficult switch to flip as the nature of private DEXs make it easier to deleverage in the case of a state attack What could potentially happen is that (such as was the case with xrp) only users in the United States get cut off from Bitcoin and all US based exchanges would delist Bitcoin That would be really really really fucked up in the case of bitcoin Not an ideal scenario at all for anyone whose not prepared to immediately go dark If you think the current administration isn’t full of rabbits that’s a naive view point to hold

When I read the knots v core debate I just think of the last major crypto lawsuit that took place and how sure all the attorneys were that what I was saying in 2020 was inaccurate… anyway 2025 is here and everything that I said would come to pass, did/has Lawyers should really have better logicians teaching them Receipts are a beautiful thing

It’d be such a plot twist if we found out Sydney Sweeney was Satoshi

Validity in the scientific method means “did you use the right fucking tool to measure the unit” This is why consensus valid transactions are valid… doesn’t mean not fucking spam

The crazy thing about fucking with anons online is you really don’t know who is on the other end of that pfp “Are they a 12 yr old child?” Or “did they possibly subcontract under NSA engineers for 10 years?” You never really know 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you’re so technical and you’re so good at understanding game theory then why isn’t this decentralized community a better experience? Celebrating a rollercoaster in DAU isn’t a flex… If you’re going to institute both WoT + PoW then you are introducing a light governance mode Allow me to repeat: ANY TIME THAT YOU INTRODUCE WEB OF TRUST YOU INTRODUCE A TRUST MODEL WHICH NECESSITATES LIGHT GOVERNANCE Healthy governance in a decentralized community is so challenging to get right and if it’s not done right, that community will have more harm than benevolence done to it This starts with how leaders lead and how educators educate
