Tonight is a sad face version of the DagzTagz universe despite it being simultaneously freedom giving… there is a point in the novel when Dagny accepts that everything around her is failing despite her leaving John and returning to the world out of her **actual deep internalized desire for self sacrifice**
And she accepts that she cannot save the world by merely being present when everyone else has already joined the strike … John is simply waiting on her to solidify the solidarity
And she does. In every single print of the novel. Dagny joins John Galt again.
