My son will be turning 14 very soon and has gotten so tall he is starting to tower over me and it reminds me of how grateful I am that I’ve been a good mom because rather than hating me he has grown into a protector… the power dynamics in our house have drastically shifted. Kids grow up. How we treat them matters. Also, it’s getting awkward in public because people often think I’m much younger than I am 😂
