My gut feeling is that we top out at anywhere from $110k-180k this cycle. If I had to pick a single price I’d go with $130k. Will be fun to check back on this later in 2025.

@Lyn Alden in Broken Money Figure 15-A it shows how bank reserves (base money) increased at a more gradual rate prior to 2008 and then exploded with the advent of QE. How were new bank reserves created in the monetary system prior to the era of QE? The book does not explain this as far as I can tell.
