One of capitalism's biggest flaws is that it puts profit above almost everything else health, well being, the environment, even human life. We're not measuring the real costs of this system. We ignore what it's doing to our minds, our communities, and the planet. And because we're not counting those things, we pretend they don't matter when in fact, they're what matter most.

Purely based on anecdotal observation, I wouldn’t be surprised if cancer becomes humanity’s number one non-infectious (for now) killer. We’ve single-handedly shortened our own lifespans through everything we poison, tamper with, and the stress we normalize then act surprised when the body turns against itself.
