Be me, want to post on nostr: - log in to primal and only see some random new account i didn't create - spend 15 minutes looking for a login button that didn't exist - spend 10 minutes wondering why i'm liking posts and nothing is happening - send @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM 🌞 several angry rants - downloaded Primal app but it was only mobile on a desktop and was terrible, and be frustrated - Call @The Daniel 🖖 - Figure out my Alby account created a new random account for me, and i was logged in to another user, and for some reason i need to store my login in alby or water - realize i don't have any of these suggested wallet options. only uses custodial lightning wallets - get referred to @Shipyard / told it was a good scheduling tool FML. back to work. we try again tomorrow

Finally figured out why I had 2 Nostr accounts all this time. I had the HEX version of my private key, not my nsec. This tool by @Keith Mukai was very helpful and ultimately got me logged in again <3

Back on Nostr after 2 years. What did I miss?

TWITTER HACK UPDATE After a week of trying to address my Twitter hack, I just woke up to find it’s happening again. I’m locked out of my account, no access, scam tweets on my profile. I have tried EVERYTHING to get my account back to normal: - Yubikey - Changing password 10 times - Changing email on account - Remove 3rd party apps - Remove developer apps NOTHING IS WORKING I keep asking for help and getting nothing. I put a lot of time into my account. After 10 years of work in this industry Twitter is what allowed me to be recognized. It’s the only reason people care about my work and now it’s being stolen and it’s honestly so fucking embarrassing and painful. I know many people will laugh. They feel like I deserve it for running an engagement account. Anyway, I am asking for help. I honestly have no idea what to do

Look I’ll be honest. I’ve been a HUGE Nostr hater. I honestly can’t fucking use this damn app and it makes me feel like an idiot. I have NO IDEA why you guys like it I follow people that I never end up following, I write messages I can’t see, and the only advice I get is to do a bunch of random technical hoo-ha But yesterdays Twitter hack was a BIG wake-up call. I got almost no help from centralized Twitter So I’m going to commit to spending 30 minutes a day to try to figure Nostr out, okay? 🤝 Day 1. Let’s go ⚡️
