I have been making homemade laundry soap for over a year now, it is so easy to make and very cost effective, I will never go back to store bought, natural scents and ingredients are so much better for you, I have a great recipe if anyone wants to try it, I also make homemade fabric softener 😊

Last weekend vending at the MidSummer Renaissance Fair, we have had a great time, these mermaid tail suckers are something I made to sell, I think they turned out great

The throne chair I made for the renaissance festival vendor booth, it’s amazing what you can make with cardboard, a regular chair and a few other things, I have everything done on my list except how to take bitcoin for payment, I just can’t figure it out.

First sunflower of the year😊

I was starting to feel unaccomplished, I got my bees a couple of months ago, we have checked the hive a few times and didn’t see any signs that we had a queen, but we opened the boxes today and I spotted her, I know the pic is not that good but I only had one hand to take it, I feel like I can rest now knowing that she is in there😊 #beekeeper #newtohomsteading

When we tore up the bank to put the chicken run in, I discovered our bank is made of wild clay, I just made this simple bowl to do a firing on it to see if it holds up, hopefully it turns out, this will be my first time to work with clay, so I have been learning a lot from YouTube 😊

Moving dirt today to make room to walk around the chicken pen, hopefully it will be done by tomorrow 😊

I wanted to start out slow raising chickens I bought 4 hens, and found out that this morning beautiful girl could crow, I guess I will learn faster than I thought.
