Do the people creating value receive a fair share? Are decisions, funding relationships, conflicts and failures visible? Can people leave without losing their money, identity, data, audience or relationships? Are workers, creators, educators, designers and moderators respected and compensated? Are environmental costs measured honestly? Does the system protect civil liberties and reduce coercion? These #questions are not designed to reveal whether someone is a good person. They are designed to reveal how a system behaves. #protocol

TLDR: The end result is a world where every human being has the knowledge, tools and power to meaningfully participate in—and say no to—the systems governing their life. A human-centered civilization A world where technology serves people—not governments, corporations, markets or machines at people’s expense. People have: * Agency over their lives * Privacy and meaningful consent * Access to trustworthy information * Control of their identities and data * Freedom to communicate and organize * Real ownership of their work and creations * The ability to question decisions * A way to appeal automated decisions * A meaningful ability to leave harmful systems * A voice in institutions affecting them Power is: * Visible * Distributed * Auditable * Contestable * Reversible * Accountable for harm Public investment produces public benefit. Companies may profit, but they cannot privatize every reward while transferring catastrophic risks to society. AI performs labor without replacing human judgment, dignity or responsibility. Technology expands human possibility without quietly eliminating human choice.
