No Center (Federation without domination)
(Sparse, steady rhythm - hand percussion, low strings)
Verse 1
We don’t need one place to gather,
We don’t need one voice to speak,
Every time we build a center,
Something quiet turns to weak.
I’m not here to lead you forward,
I’m not here to make a plan,
I’m here to pass a message
From one circle to the next by hand.
Chorus
No center.
No crown.
No map that covers every town.
If it has to know us all,
It’s already too big now.
Verse 2
We can share what’s working,
We can warn about what failed,
But no one gets to issue orders
Just because their graph looks scaled.
If you don’t like what we’re doing,
You don’t have to stay aligned,
Federation isn’t unity
It’s consent that can unwind.
Chorus
No center.
No throne.
No system that outgrows the known.
If it can’t be questioned easily,
It doesn’t get to stand alone.
Bridge (spoken, careful, human)
I don’t want your data.
I don’t want your metrics.
I don’t want to optimize you.
I want to know
who to call
when something breaks
that we can’t fix alone.
Verse 3
We’ll use tools, but name the limits,
Write the rules where all can see,
If a process can’t be explained
It doesn’t get authority.
Nothing auto-renews forever,
Nothing scales without debate,
If it starts deciding for us,
That’s when we fork - not wait.
Chorus
No centre.
No spine.
No “one last update” this time.
If it needs obedience to function,
It’s already crossed the line.
Verse 4
Coordination’s not a platform,
It’s a promise we repeat,
That if power starts to gather,
We’re allowed to break the sheet.
We don’t need it fast or seamless,
We don’t need it always on,
We need it slow enough to notice
When the people want it gone.
Final Chorus (steady, resolved)
No center.
No king.
No algorithm deciding who’s in.
Just bridges we can burn ourselves
If they stop remembering
what they’re for.
Outro
They’ll call this fragile.
They’ll call it inefficient.
They’ll call it impossible to govern.
That’s fine.
It wasn’t built to govern.
It was built
so no one could ever say again,
“I didn’t know who was in charge.”

Just a guy wandering around, looking at things that interest me! Currently these things are Freedom, Democracy, Decentralisation, Self Sovereignty and Litecoin. (I always cheer for the underdog!)
Acceptable Use
(Low hum of servers, notification tones stretched into a drone)
Verse 1
You signed in with a biometric scan,
Face matched, gait confirmed, welcome back again.
Your profile’s clean, your score’s within range,
No flags raised since the policy change.
The app says community health is up,
Engagement stable, unrest down a couple percent,
A prompt suggests content to regulate mood,
“Based on your history, this should help you.”
Chorus
This is acceptable use.
This is compliance by design.
You still have choices
Just not the ones that slow the pipeline.
Verse 2
The feed no longer shows what’s new,
It shows what keeps you predictable.
Chronology was inefficient,
Neutrality was unprofitable.
Outrage is throttled, grief is capped,
Dissent is rate-limited, quietly mapped,
Not removed - just deprioritized,
Until it feels like you changed your mind.
Chorus
This is acceptable use.
Speech without measurable harm.
If nobody hears you,
There’s no need to raise alarm.
Bridge (spoken, procedural)
Content moderation is automated.
Appeals are reviewed by machine learning.
Human oversight is reserved
for brand-sensitive incidents.
Verse 3
Elections still run on distributed ledgers,
Auditable, secure, endorsed by experts,
But eligibility updates in real time,
Based on risk modelling and compliance trends.
Your vote counts - weighted contextually,
Adjusted for exposure and susceptibility,
They call it civic optimization,
To prevent destabilization.
Chorus
This is acceptable use.
Democracy with guardrails installed.
Participation encouraged
As long as outcomes stay within tolerance bounds.
Verse 4
Law enforcement went predictive years ago,
No warrants, just probability thresholds,
You weren’t arrested - just restricted,
Travel paused, access frictioned.
They say, “If you’ve done nothing wrong,”
While redefining wrong in the changelog,
Every update improves safety metrics,
And narrows the error margin around you.
Chorus
This is acceptable use.
Security without spectacle.
You’re not being watched
You’re being modelled.
Verse 5
News is now a licensed interface,
Facts bundled with sentiment calibration,
Independent outlets still exist,
But lack discoverability authorization.
Reality arrives pre-interpreted,
With context warnings and emotion tags,
If something makes you feel too much,
It’s labelled as a system risk.
Final Chorus
This is acceptable use.
Life with fewer surprises per day.
You’re free to think anything
That doesn’t propagate, organize, or scale.
Outro (quiet, almost gentle)
Nothing here is illegal.
Nothing here is secret.
Nothing here was forced.
It just became easier
to let the system decide
than to live with uncertainty.
And one day,
when someone asks when freedom changed,
there will be no incident report
Only a long history of updates
you already agreed to.
(System tone. Screen fades to “All services operational.”)
And this is why having Governments moving to a permissioned system through Digital Identity, Central Bank Digital Currencies etc. is so dangerous. When the State controls everything, you are enslaved to the system. The "Great Reset" that the World Economic Forum and United Nations are working towards, is increasingly looking like a totalitarian nightmare that we must all resist!
