My own version of banana cake, using oatmeal instead of flour makes it heartier and more filling, and letting ripe bananas carry all the sweetness is such a great move—no added sugar needed at all. The chocolate chips are the perfect finishing touch; they give little bursts of richness without overpowering that lovely banana-oat flavor. It’s basically comfort food that feels good to eat too 😋❤
