The Bushido of Bitcoin Svetski @SvetskiWrites "🚨WATCH THIS. SOUND ON🔉 2yrs, 7 drafts & 125,000 words later, The Bushido of Bitcoin is finally available for pre-order. Writing this book has been a journey, and the process literally transformed my understanding of the world. This is NOT another history of money or economic justification for Bitcoin. Been there, done that. This is a book about virtue, excellence, culture and behaviour, which asks the harder questions: What becomes of those who rise to the top, in the new socio-economic paradigm? Will they become: --> A new kind of parasite? --> Another bunch of degenerate? Or --> Men & women of virtue. It’s not enough to just say “Bitcoin Fixes This.” We must do something about it."

T-Mobile Deutsche Telekom are running Bitcoin nodes, Lightning nodes and will start mining #bitcoin WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE. Speaking at BTC Prague, Dirk Röder, head of Web3 infrastructure and solutions at Deutsche Telekom, said: “Since 2023, we are running a Bitcoin node, and we are running Bitcoin Lightning nodes as well [...] I like to let you in on a little secret we will engage in digital monetary photosynthesis soon.” Former Cointelegraph contributor Joseph Hall asked Röder if he could elaborate on the meaning of “digital monetary photosynthesis,” and "So is T-Mobile mining Bitcoin?!" “We will.” Source

"Let‘s talk about @ambosstech ‘s new product „Reflex“ and why you should close all channels to Amboss immediately. Reflex is a product bringing OFAC compliance to LN Nodes, yet the product is advertised as increasing „Freedom“ for node runners - and freedom, according to Amboss, apparently means compliance with some of the most unjust, racist regulations existing in the world today. OFAC enforces trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security interests. These include financially interacting with *any* individuals from countries such as Russia, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, or Syria. OFAC discriminates, based on country of birth, residency, and citizenship, against some of the most vulnerable people around the world. For years, particularly people of middle eastern descent have been subject to no-notice account freezes and account closures, if they are even able to open a bank account at all - all thanks to OFAC." ... "If you believe for bitcoin to be freedom money, and want it to remain an important tool for human rights, close all channels to amboss nodes and stop using their services immediately." Source

“Computer technology is on the verge of providing the ability for individuals and groups to communicate and interact with each other in a totally anonymous manner. Two persons may exchange messages, conduct business, and negotiate electronic contracts without ever knowing the True Name, or legal identity, of the other. Interactions over networks will be untraceable, via extensive re-routing of encrypted packets and tamper-proof boxes which implement cryptographic protocols with nearly perfect assurance against any tampering. Reputations will be of central importance, far more important in dealings than even the credit ratings of today. These developments will alter completely the nature of government regulation, the ability to tax and control economic interactions, the ability to keep information secret, and will even alter the nature of trust and reputation.” –Tim May, the Cryptoanarchist Manifesto

NEW ZEUS wallet with Embedded LND node !! -- The ZEUS v0.8.0 open beta is here The new ZEUS introduces an immense amount of new functionality including an embedded node, LSP connectivity, and self-custodial lightning addresses. Embedded node First and foremost, the new ZEUS features a new embedded LND node. This means that users no longer have to remotely connect to their own pre-configured lightning node back at home or in the cloud. Users simply hit 'Quick Start' on the intro screen and start syncing the blockchain in mere moments. This node offers up nearly all the same functionality to users as they would have with a remote node: including lightning + on-chain sending and receiving, and channel management. Only the payment forwarding screens are disabled as mobile nodes are not conducive to routing.
