Has anyone developed a NIP for online gaming on #Nostr? Something that can be used for any kind of online games, including Battle Royales, PvE and PvP, or even something Pokémon-like like trading creatures or battling

@derHelper Nach dem, was mit NIP-54 jüngst passiert ist (Wiki-Seiten in Nostr), frage ich mich grad, wie dezentral Nostr wirklich ist und ob der Entwickler des Protokolls evtl etwas zu viel Einfluss darauf hat. Was ist passiert? NIP-54 definiert Wiki-Seiten im Nostr-Protokoll. Bisher war in NIP-54 definiert, dass Wiki-Seiten in Markdown geschrieben sein sollen. Das wurde jüngst jedoch geändert. Jetzt sollen die Seiten plötzlich in Asciidoc geschrieben werden werden. Das Problem an der Sache: Die meisten Artikel, und das sind in etwa 1000 an der Zahl, sind bereits in Markdown geschrieben. Vor der Änderung von NIP-54 wurde bereits Wikifreedia, der wohl wichtigste Nostr-Wiki-Client, auf Asciidoc umgestellt, was zur Folge hat, dass die Artikel nicht mehr korrekt dargestellt werden. Und ich weiß nicht, wie viele sich die Arbeit machen werden, ihre Artikel anzupassen. Wenn du also dein Video zu Nostr machst, wäre es gut, wenn du hierauf ebenfalls eingehen könntest.

#Nostr #wiki (NIP-54, Wikifreedia) is now completely broken. NIP-54 just changed to #Asciidoc while most articles are still written in #Markdown. Now everyone has to edit their articles. I think it would be a good idea now to completely start anew and create an entirely new NIP for wikis defining entirely new event kinds, with the NIP defining one format that stays once decided for.

@fiatjaf @PABLOF7z You literally just changed one word in the NIP amd didn't even remove the now wrong reference to NIP-23!

Anyone searching for a #Nostr #wiki client still using #Markdown: NoStrudel recently released version 0.40 of their client and added support for wiki articles, using Markdown instead of Asciidoc.

Regarding wiki articles, do you use Markdown or Asciidoc? NIP-54 currently uses Markdown, but Wikifreedia recently changed to Asciidoc, breaking around 1000 articles.
