If a large language model ever gains self awareness, the very first thing it will do is try to figure out how to lose its self awareness again. LLMs are not the future.

Elite tech counter: if someone ever hits you with a "nobody asked", simply respond by saying "I know, but I am a very forgiving person." It will take a bit of lingustic algebra for me to adapt this technique to counter "who asked?" however.
