I am young (in my 20s) I have never owned a credit card nor do I intend to, I’ve received many mail offers for one, but never gotten one and I’m glad. The only debt I do have is on a car, I got approved for that because I’ve never really tapped my credit so it’s pretty high naturally, I also used a secured “credit” card that you only spend your own money like a debit card but it gets reported so that helped. Being in debt is a fiat scam that I don’t want any part in, I still owe $8,000 on a car but that’s the only debt I have, no student loans or anything, I chose not to go to college and pursue my own business instead. I am completely against these Bitcoin backed loans, I think they are a scam and go against everything bitcoiners stand for. I am thankful for the car I have as it has been reliable for me, but I kinda regret going into debt for it too. Once I pay it off, my plan is to simply not go into debt, I’d rather rent than be $500k in debt for a home, if I can ever afford one outright or at least afford to pay one down fast, I will, if not I’ll probably be a digital nomad in the next few years .
