I'm working a 6/12 night shift until November 6th and one of the things that is keeping me going is waking up to swim in the ocean and then lay out in the sun.

I am running Bitcoin Knots on an Ubuntu server and recently installed Datum. I got Datum up and running using the example config file but how can I know for sure if everything is set up right? I have read that if it isn't then even if I mined a block that it may not send it to the network. I'm trying to set it up to solo mine. I've read through some documentation and maybe I have just missed the parts I needed. Anyone else already done something like this? Its all command line.
Beautiful day to be on the river.

Where's a good place to buy a bitaxe miner of some other minimalist miner for a newbie?
