Great interview if you can get past Ryan’s wordy opening statements. Worth a listen. I’m a classic lib, I believe climate change is real and that a big part of it is our fault, and that our children will have an increasingly tough time living normal lives because of the direction the climate is headed, and there’s nothing we can do to undo it. Which is why I get extra heated when I hear anybody arguing against nuclear energy. It’s safe, and it’s plentiful, and it’s critically necessary. The arguments against it just don’t make sense, even if you believe climate change is a hoax. Particularly insightful to me was the discussion on what would happen to prices of consumer goods and transport if the energy industry didn’t suck up so much of our supply of fossil fuels. Neat perspective.
