Why is there so much flat earth nonsense on NOSTR and where has it all come from?

My sympathies are with the soldiers. They’re the ones who are truly fucked by the system. Fighting and dying in meaningless wars made endless by money printing. We think we’ve got it hard but they’re the ones who are dying “Dulcē et decōrum est prō patriā morī” my fucking ass.

They’re trying to clamp down on non-KYC bitcoin. But if there are circular economies spending in bitcoin who really don’t give a shit we’re alright. Right?

I buy bitcoin because 1. I’m absolutely sickened by endless war 2. Satoshi included a front page including money printing (bailout) and endless war (Israel invading Gaza - Again). He cared 3. It’s the safest way to pass on my wealth 4. It protects my family into the future

I buy bitcoin because…..

As bitcoiners we all talk about money printing. But we’ve read so much about it (broken money, bitcoin standard etc) that we don’t realise the rest of the world doesn’t know anything about it. I was explaining money printing to my 14 year old son and he refused to accept it. He kept saying “but it’s paid back”, “everything is returned”. He got quite emotional about it. This is the reaction from ‘normies’. It is emotional, visceral. It’s like we’re breaking down a fundamental pillar of their worldview. And we are. He’s only 14!! Normies will fight tooth and nail to defend their worldview. Bitcoin will win, but it’s going to take a long time
