Day 7: #grownostr initiative This is the western half of my property. I prefer to keep it this way, but would love to interact with it in some way. My wife had the idea of growing and harvesting mushrooms. Does anyone else do this? #homestead #mushrooms

I have only been on nostr for 6 days and followed #TSP 's #grownostr initiative and have met some really amazing people. Viewing their post and talking to them has been incredibly inspiring. I love seeing so many people with similar, yet unique ideas and actions taking place. #thankful #inspired

Day 6: #grownostr initiative I am worried about my plants... I finished planting my garden yesterday (20'x60') and the temperature dropped to 34 degrees last night. The low was only supposed to be 40. I haven't checked on it yet. I had to nostr first (priorities). Wish me luck. #gardening #Oklahoma

Another weekend in the books... We planted our entire garden and got our goat pen ready for our new doe. I wish I was able to spend all my time doing projects around the property. Has anyone else managed to make this happen? #grownostr #homesteading

Day 5: #grownostr initiative Planted cucumbers with the intention of trellising them (it will be my first attempt). Any suggestions that worked well for you appreciated I also got one of the two gates installed for my new goat pen and barn. We have a new Boer doe coming Monday so we have to get it ready to accept a 2 month old with our 1 year olds. We will be butchering one of our 2 year olds and breeding the other this fall. New to both of those endeavors. Again, any advice, very appreciated. #gardening #goats

This area used to be where the goat pen was located. We tilled (first year till only) all the goat bedding from the year into the soil, created rows and planted 30 tomato plants and 30 pepper plants. We still have melons, cucumbers, beans and okra to plant tomorrow. But we will see how she does. #grownostr #gardening
