I’m not a famous person and I’m certainly not an influencer, so fuck this person trying to scam people using my likeness. I don’t know what they’re DMing people or what they’re promising them. TBH I’m impressed they have more followers than I do. If you are an X user, please, do me a favor and report this asshole account. I would do the same for you. This post on nostr, using my NIP05 address and identity, should be the confirmation needed that I am who I say I am. Nostr first, X second. And fuck the scammers. image

Sorry to all Bitcoiners and Goldbugs, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says all the gold in Fort Knox is accounted for, any US Senator can arrange a visit to go see, and there's no plan to mark up the gold to current market prices

The legal cannabis industry, from what I hear from insiders, is criminally under-informed on how they could use bitcoin today to solve their “banking” issues. Strike API, BTCpayserver, Zeus or Breez POS could be used today. Even Alby. Tell your cannabis dispenser (in legal states) to accept bitcoin today. Working on an education and adoption campaign for anyone who is interested. There are Bitcoiners at the higher level (larger industries) but not enough in retail.

I called out Laura Loomer for obviously taking money from a Ripple-related firm to attack a former democratic SEC commissioner (he liked ETH over XRP), and she admitted to getting a hard on? Now her followers are saying I’m going to get “Loomered”? image

I’ve mentioned on a few podcasts and in plenty of meetings that XRP has funded tons of stuff in DC — especially in the last 3 months. Half of K Street, many politicians, etc. Their latest move is funding a bunch of policy groups (and now Laura Loomer!) to try to trash Bill Hinman because during his time as an SEC commissioner, he said ETH and BTC weren’t securities, implying that XRP was. It’s just so obvious at this point image

At the Paris AI Summit, 🇺🇸 VP JD Vance gave a rockstar defense of permissionless innovation in AI, while 🇨🇦 PM Justin Trudeau sought a more top-down regulatory model with global guardrails. The difference couldn't be more stark I explain why on Canadian news channel News Forum

"In the economic sphere an act, a habit, an institution, a law produces not only one effect, but a series of effects. Of these effects, the first alone is immediate; it appears simultaneously with its cause; it is seen. The other effects emerge only subsequently; they are not seen; we are fortunate if we foresee them. There is only one difference between a bad economist and a good one: the bad economist confines himself to the visible effect; the good economist takes into account both the effect that can be seen and those effects that must be foreseen." –Frédéric Bastiat

As someone who makes a living writing, I’m often quite reluctant to use AI for actually anything other than research. Mostly Venice.ai for good research and perplexity for real-time links and original source material. I’ve seen too many articles or blogposts so obviously written by some LLM that I find it almost distasteful. Change my mind
