The current batch of online “Kids Safety” bills in Congress require KYCing of anyone who wants a social media account. The end of anonymity online.
You might hate big tech, but in going after them with age requirements, US Senators are setting up a digital censorship regime threatening much more than social apps

Okay, maybe we’ll help wrestle TikTok out of the hands of the CCP

bitcoin's architecture allows decentralized innovation offering security and value exchange on a global scale – and that terrifies Elizabeth Warren + FinCEN

grateful Matt Kibbe gave me time to explain on his show and on BlazeTV. I'm a "big bitcoin guy" according to him
A shoutout to these anon bitcoin/privacy folks who come in and out of the various bitcoin social networks with influence. I always very much appreciate them.
Always wonder who they are now. Is it YOU anon?
The Guy in the Glass
When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf,
And the world makes you King for a day,
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that guy has to say.
For it isn't your Father, or Mother, or Wife,
Who judgement upon you must pass.
The feller whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the guy staring back from the glass.
He's the feller to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the guy in the glass is your friend.
You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the guy in the glass.

Did anyone ever really use this? (bitcoin “tips” on Twitter/X)
I think Elon’s 2 engineers forgot to remove it

Trying to lobby and pass preemptive laws on Bitcoin (restricting the state) has been difficult (with some success), but a few of us have been more successful in getting legal, constitutional preemptions on states using or testing CBDCs
I'm trying to catalog everything here on GitHub, but there are many smart and talented state legislators working on the version that works best for their state, as well as some state-based think tanks that are doing exceptional work defending individual liberty and your inviolable, natural rights to use bitcoin (shoutout @Name)
Here's a run down on some of the model policies we've worked on that we're pitching to state lawmakers around the US, and some recent successes

If you're someone who writes words online or in print, journalist, op-ed, other otherwise, and you're not actively using the wayback machine or archive.ph (hell, even Arweave) you're doing yourself a disservice.
Would love to find a "sats for webpage archiving" service.
I've tried to run archivebox on my server, but the permissions and ports you need open make me way too paranoid
Is apple webkit is the base for all iOS browsers, does that mean that there’s a vulnerability for the onion browser (even when used with orbot)?
hey @Edward Snowden, do you believe Tucker's claim that NSA and those folks have been successful in snooping on his Signal account? And then they leaked the details of your meeting and others (including the initial interview w/ Putin) to select journalists?
I feel that not enough reporting has been done on this and poses a significant question for people who do care about privacy and encryption

open-sourcing model public policies on Bitcoin.
Would love additional input and comments!
Already 3 bills from this are currently awaiting final votes in US state legislatures (mostly relating to restricting CBDCs)
