This week I learned more about the Indian financial system. Has some level of innovation, but absolutely closed off to incoming payments — high taxes, lots of tax scrutiny, and a lot of required reporting. I’m not sure about Bitcoin adoption this far (few exchanges), but I’ve been trying with the few activists I know

Also learned now that author Milan Kundera died today. Our generation has been fortunate to consume art by living survivors of communistic and socialist regimes. From Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union, Hungary, East Germany, and more. Through these books, poems, films, and other works of art, we’re reminded of the darkness that once consumed entire continents and sought to extinguish the flame of human liberty. On other continents, that darkness continues to manifest. Choose art and freedom.

I did not realize the ultimate utility of having multiple non-KYC VoIP numbers. And the tech around them is very impressive for privacy.
