A while back, I scanned some family photos. I highly recommend this exercise. It’s wonderful to see the past that has largely been forgotten. 
i have no idea how to “catch up on the news” and then when i do dip a bit more into it i am like “fuck this” and run away.
maybe related: i have been playing a bit of animal crossing again.
I am hilariously impressed with Nintendo Music streaming service. Highly recommend.
