Listening to Saylor on Peter’s show. Some of these analogies man… Protocol changes are akin to: 1)“inflation” because there are more lines of code. 🤦 2)”violation of property rights” (ie: a scaling improvement is akin to stealing from miners) because they reduce fees. 🤦‍♀️ Sorry but no one owns a line of code. If a line of code is added, my share of the whole is not diluted. I don’t even have a share of the code in the first place. Sorry but if everyone decides to run a version of core that improves scaling they are free to do so. The miners are free to do whatever they want with their resources. Violation of rights requires force. No force, no rights violation. These arguments don’t hold water even if you are an ossification enjoyer.
Anyone working on broadcasting a transaction over lora using these mestashtic thingies? Messaging is cool and all but transacting is much more interesting.
Coffee and I locked in: 500 sats each. Celtics win finals, 500 from me to him. West/Celtics, 500 to me. If Celtics choke the conference finals away before they get there, bets off. View quoted note →
