In my profession dealing with bureaucrats.... I love when people talk about something they did that "got them in trouble“ with the local boot lickers. Half my job is designing shit in AutoCAD and half is dealing with bureaucrats and I honestly don't know which one I love/hate more .... But I have found my neighborhood superpower is when I get a referral to a new neighbor and then I can go into the planning department and gaslight them into giving my new neighbor a permit. Sometimes it's not worth the fight but just convincing the people in charge that you cannot be governed is worth it whether they realize it or not.....

Follow up boost since last time I used “Dary” to refer to Jon there was some confusion... In Letterkenny there is a character named Daryl and they call him Dary. Matt and Dary! My favorite podcasters! I really should have hired Travis Bickle to help plumb my pool heater. Maybe I could have saved a few ASICs and a few thousand cuck bucks. I love the idea of weaponized autism but I don’t have the credentials of a real autist. I’m more of a retarded autistic LARP so I try to channelize my inherent grumpiness into Weaponized Grumpiness and so far it’s been pretty good for me! As Robert Frost would say in The Road Not Taken "I took the more weaponized grumpy path and that made all the difference"

I certainly feel like a LARP most of the time. But generally speaking aren’t we all LARPing as a living creature in preparation for eternity? Either spend your time here trying to be a “good” person or maybe one day you answer for your sins before the Lord himself. I do really appreciate the comment about raising girls who won't need me one day. It's my biggest goal but my greatest fear. The thought of failure or success are both terrifying. Trying to enjoy time with my children while they are kids while also ALWAYS considering their future as an adult is a juxtaposition that I don’t think most humans fully understand. Cultivate that passion within them, protect that innocence, but also ensure they fully understand the world is ready to terminate all their hopes and dreams at any moment...

No need for further explanation! I am not a huge nerd for Bill and Ted's but I immediately understood the reference when you explained it! I had an English teacher who always said “if you don't get the allusion, you don't get the joke!" I doubt I came up with the word Plebconomy but I hope I did! 🤣 Also love Wallace and Gromet!
