You can now put any fears about the US national debt to rest. The IRS just recovered $1.3 billion of unpaid taxes from the wealthy, which amounts to 0.003682 percent of the $35.3 trillion national debt! In other words, the amount the IRS just recovered is barely half of one day's interest on the US national debt. Great job!

When Bitcoin becomes your unit of account, crappy-handwaving-Peter Schiff-quoting articles like this won't bother you in the least. Maybe Bitcoin drops for a while, but over the long term it's other assets that grind down against Bitcoin. https://www.forbes.com/sites/digital-assets/2024/09/03/strap-in-september-fed-us-dollar-crisis-predicted-to-spark-total-collapse-and-a-critical-bitcoin-price-tipping-point/
Since most people lack the financial background needed to understand what a dangerous and terrible idea it is to attempt to tax unrealized capital gains, I just published this—my first lengthy article in almost two years. https://dncomply.com/unreal/
This morning I listened to the new interview of Stadicus by
nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u about all the issues surrounding self-custody. I found it so helpful that I updated my Bitcoin Basics primer with a link to the interview. https://dncomply.com/bitcoin-basics/
One of my very favorite bitcoiners is @johnkvallis. Ultra generous w/ impeccable integrity. He stopped tweeting and NOSTRing months ago, and I really miss his podcast. Hoping he's happy & healthy and, if so, that he's working on something wonderful that justifies/explains his radio silence.
Orwell never created any villain half as despicable as Mark Rowley. https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1821934374675206485
Ethereum’s a tapeworm and I can’t wait until it finally dies. Bitcoin would be so much further along towards world domination if it weren’t for Vitalik and those other grifters.
Elon switching his Twitter profile to laser eyes is not priced in.
The only bad thing about Bitcoin is having to see a bunch of technical analysis in your feed.
Today's the perfect day for everyone who is not paying attention to continue not paying attention.
Apart from Bitcoin, in which other assets do you park a significant portion of your wealth?
After Google vaporized its Podcasts app I switched to using Spotify as my app player. What a piece of junk!
So I just switched again to @fountain_app and it's vastly better than either. Since I'm repopulating my podcast feed, what's a superb #bitcoin podcast that deserves more love?
Check it out: I found somebody yesterday willing to sell me an ENTIRE bitcoin for less than $55,000. Could you imagine anyone making such a huge mistake? What luck!
Why store your wealth in a doomed fiat currency? And why measure your wealth by that currency? #Bitcoin
What do the greatest Bitcoin lovers and Bitcoin haters have in common? Both cheer the dips—albeit for entirely different reasons.
Nice stuff as usual from Gladstein. Either embrace freedom technology or be a victim of fiat inflation and surveillance tech—the choice is yours.

There’s a saying that history doesn’t repeat but often rhymes. In many of Root’s charts, it’s more like history actually repeats.

Time and again, Bitcoin skyrockets against failing currencies.
Imagine owning zero bitcoin.
