Hey @Bitcoin Mechanic sorry. For spam, was editing this note. I’m binge watching your whole channel since the beginning. I make a virtual high fives all the time. With almost every episode I watch, I stumble on some odd comparison that mirrors an analogy I’ve made myself. Like the one about a hard fork being like changing the meaning of a single word in English — I’d never heard anyone else make that comparison and thought I might be the first, but here you are, five years ahead of me. There’s one thing we don’t agree on, though, and I’m curious whether you’ve reconsidered your view on “separation of church and state.” I’d strongly encourage you to revisit it. In Catholicism we talk about the “separation of secular and ecclesiastical power.” Jesus put it this way: “Give to God what is God’s, and to Caesar what is Caesar’s.” In a sense he’d already worked it out — but what that line actually implies is that a country should be governed by two balanced powers, spiritual and secular, together. That way power isn’t concentrated in one person, as it is under some randomauthoritarian ruler, rather than monarchy. Two powers hold each other in check. So neither one of them can abuse its power. It’s a deep rabbit hole overall, but I’d encourage you to look into the distinction. The modern idea of “separation of church and state” was invented — deliberately altered and repackaged by the Freemasons. They changed the meaning of the original concept, and most people never notice this small but crucial difference.
