I don’t think most progress realise what they really want is a *multiethnic* state, which the US has successfully become.
They don’t actually want a *multicultural* society. Even if the culture is losely defined, it needs a to be a strong pillar.

I’m still struggling with the idea I’m might be an anarchist.
But anarchy does not mean absence of order but avoiding stale and corruptive power structures.
Humans will always naturally create hierarchies voluntarily, that’s not bad.
But those power structures should not outlast the people in them and constant renegotiation should be on the table.
As we see AI progress, I’m staring to understand the existence of mentats in Dune, which was always one the most off putting concepts in Dune for me.
“No computers? Really?”

If you “believe science” you can make a shit tone of money buying Moderna and Pfizer stock.
For some reason, the price is very depressed even though mRNA vaccines are totally going to change the world, according to the good people on TV.
Moderna is lower than before the pandemic and Pfizer is at 2012 prices.
Free money!

Some days Nostr feels like a dev mailing list, and I feel like a lurker.

The more of an unbelievable caricature the “enemy” is described as, the more people band together to fight it and stop asking questions.
It’s a weird incentives spiral.
Don’t be afraid to follow an account on nostr.
Seriously, think about it: who tf uses nostr?
The filtering has been made for you: most likely you will be following a mildly autistic but hopeful human, just like you 🫂. (there will be retardation tho)
Most bitcoin explanations are cringe af.
Listen to me.
Bitcoin is a database, so is fiat. Bitcoins’ database is 1. decentralised and 2. synchs into a consensus in a novel as surprisingly robust way, 3. allowing any tx within its rules without censorship or ways to change the db in anyone’s favor. 4. It’s finite supply, this isn’t technological, it was a choice.
Because of all of this, some people use Bitcoin as money all over the world.
That’s it.
Unpopular opinion: we need algos in Nostr asap.
Algos signal a poster “this is interesting, do more of this, please”, it helps the audience to filter out noise,
Without them, there is little reason to react to a note (you are not reinforcing the feed choices), and posters feel no one is listening.
The bad rep of algos is how much of a black box they are in traditional platforms.
So the question is: why aren’t there more open source algo options?
So Twitter is suggesting me more and more “local” tweets, and my feed is getting worse and worse.
It’s like my countrymen never used social media before, it’s basically insults all they down.
Remember me again why am I on Twitter?
