Then you are always running the risk of having your bitcoin compromised by bugs, hacks, and/or flaws in the design placed there on purpose. Always self host your own lightning or on chain wallets whenever you can on machines you locally control that are off the public internet. Always move the majority of your sats to on-chain for cold storage. If you must use a 3rd party service for a lightning wallet. Then never keep more than what you are willing to lose in there at any given time. This post has been motivated by the recent coinos compromise. I wish software developers on Nostr actually started answering questions and giving good advice again. Did they stop, because they have vibe coded too much and can no longer think for themselves? Maybe Im just too much of an asshole to bother with anymore? Either way I am going to stop asking, because they are incapable, or unwilling to help a fellow foss developer out.
