Kind of funny how when things go sideways the universe makes you remember things are not that bad. 1) My day ended with some bad news. Nothing horrible. Just frustrating and inconvenient. I went for a walk and saw some words of wisdom built into the side walk. 2) Obviously the universe decided to sweeten the pot, and my connecting flight seems to have been changed to first class. Tonight i decided to make homemade kimchi (small batch) for the first time in a very long time. Start time was 7pm. Brining napa in salt water took longer than expected due to the thicker pieces of napa taking a bit to soften. Finished at 215am. My kitchen is going to smell of garlic and chili for days but the pay off will be worth it. #foodchain #foodstr
