Just thinking about it, if I ran a small business and was running into hurdles trying to accept and custody Bitcoin, why wouldn't I just do work off the books and chalk it up to a loss when tax time came? The gain long term would eclipse whatever loss was incurred, especially with few customers transacting with coin. What's the big deal about just side stepping the bookkeeping?
