I think this micropayments over lightning is a huge potential for streaming digital content such as (but nit linited to) music and podcasts. Instead of the subscription to streaming platforms you can pay the content creators directly whenever you consume their content. I have decided not to read articles, watch videos, or listen to a podcast because of paywall subscription models, this is the answer!
