Happy Spring Festival. Great to spend time with parents and family in Vietnam.
Consolidated 50+ utxo. Sparrow wallet is my new favorite #bitcoin wallet
I am so happy. *Multiple* of the ultra high net worth clients who attended the event in Dubai have contacted their relationship manager asking how to buy #Bitcoin. This made my day - a small win 😀
Had an amazing opportunity educating HSBC ultra high net worth clients in #Dubai Museum of the Future on the advantages of #Bitcoin over private ledgers. I explained how Bitcoin works and its merits as a store of value, and drew comparisons to other digital assets including CBDC. The questions and audience engagement were fantastic.
Well, I went to a #Dubai coffee shop today that DID accept #bitcoin… but no #lightning. Happy to support them, but did use fiat. Will try another one tomorrow. Met with some amazing venture capital partners and clients out here.
Hope I can find a coffee shop in Dubai that will be able to give me a receipt denominated in Satoshi, accept lightning, and allow me to try to submit the receipt in China for reimbursement 🤑juvenile or dreamer, doesn’t matter to me.
Heading to Dubai for the week on a work trip. Any place worth visiting? Anyone accept bitcoin?
Time to move all assets out of Vanguard. Fidelity seems like a reasonable alternative but open to hear ideas. Liquidating everything to #bitcoin… not quite there yet. image
Thank you, SEC, for the last chance to buy Bitcoin under $45k 🙏
As more bank employees ask me “what token should I buy” my answer has and will continue to be: Bitcoin. They still see what I buy as a speculative investment. For me, it’s just exiting fiat.
Who gave you permission to quit?! @jb55 Seriously, could I subscribe to a premium version? For example, I’d like to fund a theoretical “find friends” feature where I can associate a GPS location and date time to my profile, and enable/disable if people can find me nearby. This could enable many new theoretical (and profitable…) client ideas around web3 dating, social networking, or more. I’d be open to advertising too for non-premium versions. View quoted note →
I’d like to use cointracking.info tax software to see all the derived public addresses of my CLN node. I have used this to find my xpub: lightning-hsmtool dumponchaindescriptors ~/.lightning/bitcoin/hsm_secret However, I see it is using a “m/0/0/*” derivative path when most wallet software expects “m/*” I believe? Is there a way to convert my hsm_secret into a corresponding xpub (and ypub and zpub ) that is a more “standard” m/* derivative path? Eager to learn more.
